We want the dreamers, the determined and the stubborn. We need the compassionate and the ones who have walked through fire. We call those who don’t know who they are or what to do.

‘Ends of the Earth’ Discipleship Training School

For this is what the Lord has commanded us: 'I have appointed you to be a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'" Act 13:47(NET)

There are hidden peoples all over this planet. Some we have to go and look for and some we have to choose to see.
22 000 children die each day due to poverty
21 million victims of human trafficking worldwide
Between 100 and 140 million women are victims of female genital mutilation (FGM) worldwide
10.4 million refugees (not including internally displaced persons) worldwide
Over 6000 Unreached People Groups (UPG)

We want hidden peoples to know they are seen, are loved, that they have a plan and a purpose, and to become disciples who disciple others who disciple others. Join us this January to follow Jesus in His command to go to the ends of the earth!

YWAM Truro’s Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a place to connect with God, other followers of Christ, and the world. Come, spend six months immersed in a life-changing community – learn, grow and give in ways that you may have only dreamed of before! YWAM’s Discipleship Training School has been impacting lives and training youth for service for over 40 years! Coming from around the globe, DTS students, staff and guest lecturers study, work and play together, seeking to know God and to make Him known in every area of life among all people of the planet.

The first part of the DTS is a 12-week classroom phase.
Qualified staff and teachers share from the Bible, their own experiences, and invite you to experience God in practical and personal ways. More than just information, the classroom phase of the DTS combines “hearing”, “seeing” and “doing” in order to maximize learning and to “connect the dots” between what you know and how you live. Lectures, reading, small-group discussion, worship, prayer, creative-processing and application times, assignments, and one-on-one conversations with staff, keep classes interesting and accommodate a variety of learning styles.

An 11-week cross-cultural field assignment follows the classroom phase.
This provides an opportunity to take the gospel to the nations, living out and practically giving away what you have learned. You get to see the transforming power of God’s love in the lives of many others around the world! DTS is an intense six months - living in community, discovering God in new ways, doing things you have never done before - even leaving the safety and comfort of home, all in order to come face to face with the needs of a desperate world. Be a part of a great adventure that changes the world!
